Co-sponsored by the Atlanta Psychoanalytic Society, The Atlanta Foundation for Psychoanalysis, The Emory University Psychoanalytic Studies Program, and The Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute

What this Conference Offers

Presentation and Discussion on the topic of grievance and its relationship to trauma with analysts at all stages of their development and thinking;
  • Two clinical case workshops that will feature experienced, graduate analysts presenting analytic material to renowned psychoanalysts;
  • Film viewing and discussion of Grievance as portrayed in an acclaimed Argentine-Spanish dark comedy;
  • Socializing, dining, and networking with psychoanalysts from throughout the Southeastern region; and
  • up to 13.25 Continuing Education Credits for Licensed Counselors, psychiatrists, Psychologists, and Social Workers (in Application).

  • 4:45-5:30 PM: Plenary Discussion to explore and develop one another’s Individual perspectives on Grievance and Trauma
